Friday 13th February 2015.

The most blackest day..the day of all doom gloom and spent sighs, fed to us as children as a day to peep from behind the curtain with care in case Goblins dragged us into a corner to demand our small bag of boiled sweets...sixpence a quarter in those far off days...pineapple chunks and such a mass of choice of other wierd and colourful items my eyes used to melt with awe in the sweet shops that simply seemed to be on every street corner, before the rampant iron ore of  supermarket chain gangs surged stamped it's Godzilla footprints across the land, sucking us all in, as if rolling sagebrush passing those saloon bar swing doors haunting those old cowboy films on Sunday afternoons back in the sixties...when time did indeed seem to stand is not even sagebrush to show where such shops once stood....Godzilla has crushed all....and i have forgotten where my scribble tonight was going...However i have survived the day...So Goeth...
