The ancient ticking ghost with head in hand came, galloped away with the weekend at such a a pace i do not feel as if i have pulled off my pink laced hobnailed boots and let them breath long enough to sigh across the Weekend...in rest and peace...There are no more landgirls in the fields bailing hay..the second world war has been over for 70 years this coming month of May..and yet we still play with the ticking clock to have British Summer Time....Today Parliment was closed down..the general election war...begins in earnest...i will vote for anyone..who stops playing with the clocks..outlaws Zero Hour Contracts..and reverts back to traditional retirement ages....which means perhaps i will be voting for myself.....
I did manage this weekend to go and feel, touch, " of the peg suits " in a famous clothing store which also makes jolly funny Easter eggs...It was not the price which put into deep thoughts that my old suit simply needs sending to the cleaners...nor the fem inside me screaming don't you dare...but a suit with pockets..which were not pockets...and made in Cambodia and China...but not Saville Row....only echoed inside my head as too perhaps another day....plus i had to calm the fem inside, i did feel sorry for her with a few chuckles i let her drift around the mass of bra's hanging in the wind they have certainly come along way in colours and styles since my teens... alas not her size was to be had which left her with a tiny pout....However i did treat all those inside me to a Colin The Catterpillar..Easter Egg...for this coming Easter Sunday...so goeth...
