Sunday 8th September 2019.

Darkness has fallen, there has been no rain today, not quite wall to wall sunshine but enough to totter around the garden to sit on my retirement bench with a glass of bubbles and wonder why i have not quite reached for those slippers just yet. Such thoughts linger but always look brighter calmer with a slice of sunshine, i have this afternoon potted some wild flowers i came across in a carpark where troglodytes stop for breakfast, and where trash is a mile high the plants simply whispered WTF...get us out of here.
Turned up the volume as those electric lawnmowers battled amongst the nearby houses...Shelter from the storm was quite apt against those kamikaze grass cutters...Howlin a good voice to place plants in pots and the Pogues and Indigo Girls are something else. To blow bubbles at.
Time to hit the pillow work will call in a few hours, time to pull up the wrinkled stockings for a brand new week in my tiny red van..they say Oranges are not the only fruit, thus time to slip into Derek Jarmen's words before lights out...
So and peace to all whom pass this way have a good week ahead...x
