I have not quite become used to scribbling the year 2020...on anything. I have reached the hump of the week in a frame of mind which is better suited to the warmth and sunshine of Australian beach memories tucked in small corners of my mind. As usual i have tried to keep away from the splash of media written on the side of buses trawling around the Manchester Basin during this bleak mid winter...Yet i have not escaped the drama unfolding in the Royal Family nor the admission by Iran on the shooting down of an airliner vey sorry they if their words mean much. I was thinking of going into Manchester on Saturday and visiting the flicks and watching the Film 1917 then supper after however after trawling through this mixed bag of weather in boxed off cold and heavy down pours of rain whilst slamming shut pillar boxes stuffed with letters, and conversations on the shop floor around all the postmen whom have passed away this last few years some within days, months,of finishing or not on the post has poured sad thoughts over my own vanity in making it to the last nine yards, this old soul just might like the comfort of home cooking and a bottle of plonk after pulling off my uniform, rather than battle over the chewing gum infested streets of i have said Winter is not my favourite time of the year to many godzilla's under the pillow of dreams.
However weekend is in sight therefore that at least must be a fingers crossed blessing...Love and Peace to all whom pass this way..So Goeth...
