Tuesday 28th April 2020.

Today is day 36 of the govenments lock down rules, i rose from the pit of dreams at 5.00am...sleep was simply not there hanging in the dark hours, at such an hour whilst pulling on my long socks i thought of the song Famous Blue Raincoat, i also wonder how i pulled myself from the pit at such an hour for 36 years give or take a couple of banana skins...to pull on my blue uniform, at this moment i am not sure how i feel, it's took me an hour and a half just to write this far, I've glanced through some old photo's thinking wow gosh, how long ago, i came across a picture i took whilst passing through Singapore of the front cover of the Straits Times Saturday April 6th 2013..." Mass culling of poultry in Shanghai market after H7N9 bird flu discovered in pigeons for sale..it seems the Chinese have never learnt anything over the years and perhaps never will, i took the picture simply to remind myself of the time passing through Singapore thinking perhaps that might be my last time my footfall would walk the streets of the city and not simply for the bird flu. But how apt in these strange times. I believe the Australian Govt are asking questions about China and the tragic events we live in at this time in high places the old story of mass media making money out of fear will probably see such antics from the Aussie's simply be swept under the carpet or not quite hitting the front pages of even the Beano...In the meantime am going to try and move through the day in some form of good will sticking my head in the sand so To speak keeping as far away as i can from the wall to wall 24 news on Trump and his antics of what to and not to drink in his cure for the big IT....I shall leave you with a touch of 2013....As always love and peace and take care indeed during these times....So Goeth..x
