Today in the summer of 1966 some 54 years ago, perhaps, Jack Charlton might well have been pulling on his football boots today and playing amongst the World Cup, held in this country all those years ago. Today he is no longer with us, if you believe in God and the Christian faith this weekend he could well be looking down on the world at this moment on the right hand of God and as a Yorkshire man.. he may think what the fuck, has happened to the world.
I was only 10 years old at the time but i will remember that day until the day i am sent to hell when the time comes for variouis naughty thoughts i have when pulling on a dress...and slipping on a thin slip of lipstick.
Tonight with a glass of wine or two, i slipped in a dvd..of the greatest football match an English football fan could possibly watch and thankfully in the setting sun there was no one to see my emotion as Jack Charlton roamed around the pitch, nor was there any Black Lives Matter Fans in a woozy mood, hammering on my door asking me why i was watching some English History they belived i should not be watching with the possiblity now and in the future that the year of 1966 will be scorched from any school books for ever more, and a star will be embroided upon me for being emotional over some English History.
To all whom pass this way love and peace have a good week ahead and take care..X
